Remuneration: £40,000 – £60,000 + bonus

The role of the Internal Sales Manager – Civils and Drainage Building Products will involve:
• Internal Sales Manager role selling a distributed range of high quality drainage and civil engineering building products
• Selling into main contractors, subcontractors, groundworkers (national housing developers), drainage contractors, earthwork contractors, RC frame contractors and civil engineering contractors
• Lead and support the internal sales team to achieve our clients ambitious growth plans
• Ensure excellent account management and customer service for existing clients
• Increase customer base and drive new business
• Set and monitor sales-focused KPI’s for the internal team
• Facilitate a seamless approach between the internal and external sales teams
• Provide regular reports and forecasts to key stakeholders
• Liaise regularly with Operations & Logistics to ensure smooth operation
• 5 reports initially (internal sales team)
• Driving the branch turnover to achieve 100% growth in the next 3 years
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Manager – Civils and Drainage Building Products with:
• Must have a proven track record (5+ years) in Sales within the construction industry
• Ideally will have experience working for a civils merchant / experience dealing with civils & drainage building products
• Ideally will have strong leadership and development skills
• Track record of increasing turnover and profitability
• Familiar with report writing
• Strong communications skills both written and verbal
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic, flexible, reliable and ambitious
• Exceptional standards of customer service
