Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 – £20,000 + £30,000 bonus

The role of the Area Sales Manager – Contract Furniture BTR and PBSA will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a manufactured range of contract furniture for bathrooms, bedrooms, living/ dining and kids furniture
  • Targeting the contract furniture sector within BTR, PBSA, leisure and affordable housing across the UK
  • Our client currently does more that £5m within this sector, you will inherit circa £1m worth of customers
  • Tasked with Doubling turnover over the next 2 years
  • Projects gestation period can be 12 months +
  • Loads of support from the company and access to sales leads as required
  • Projects can vary from £10,000-30,000 for a small development, to £100,000 for 40-50 properties and up to £2m for 300+ block of apartments
  • Promoting an extensive furniture product range of over 1,300 products
  • New business focussed role, both within known customers such as PBSA operators, universities, and developers/ main contractors
  • Tasked with doubling turnover over the next 2 years
  • Creating a growth strategy with solid go-to-market strategies

The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Contract Furniture BTR and PBSA with:

  • Must have field sales experience within either the BTR, PBSA (purpose built student accommodation), hospitality, senior living, affordable housing and social housing sectors
  • Furniture field sales experience is not essential
  • New business hunter, not afraid to cold call and open doors mentality
  • Passionate and ambitious with an adaptable sales technique
  • Proven track record in field sales within the KBB / interior building products preferable
  • Acting as the dedicated contract furniture field sales professional within BTR, PBSA, leisure and affordable housing across the UK
  • Ability to sell into a variety of different levels
  • Hard working mentality
  • Commercially minded
