The role of the Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Metalwork will involve:
- Sales & Estimating Manager position dealing with a range of bespoke joinery and metalwork for shopfitting projects
- Interpreting technical drawings, generating & following up quotations
- Negotiating with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Producing formal quotations to customers
- Taking details from drawings to produce BOQs allowing for a timely return of quotations for customer deadlines
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Contact customers dealing with queries and providing additional technical information
- Establish and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Working on projects ranging in value from £20k up to £2m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator – Bespoke Joinery & Metalwork with:
- Must have estimating experience within the joinery or metalwork
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
- Highly organised with good attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good team player who also works well individually
