The role of the Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services will involve:
- Electrical Engineer position leading the design and development of electrical systems for RIBA Stage 4-5 construction projects.
- Oversee and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations.
- Collaborate with MEP, architectural, and structural teams to integrate electrical systems effectively.
- Have technical oversight of junior engineers and support their professional development.
- Engage with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success.
Contribute to sustainability and energy efficiency strategies within electrical designs
- Working on M&E projects with values ranging from £1m to £15m
The ideal applicant will Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services with:
- Must have a Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Must have experience in electrical design within the building services sector
- Ideally Professional Registration with IET or similar body (Incorporated Engineer or Chartered Engineer status preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HV/LV distribution, lighting, fire alarm, power, and containment systems.
- Understanding of AutoCAD/Revit, AMTECH (Trimble)
- High levels of organisation and attention to detail
- IT Literate
