The role of a Designer– Architectural Metal will involve:
- Design position dealing with a high end range of architectural metal systems such as: balustrades, balconies, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
- Build and develop client relationships throughout projects
- Ensure design is maintained from concept through to completion
- Producing designs for projects ranging from £50k to £1.2m in value
- Liaise with client and external consultants in relation to live projects
- Identify and manage design risks
The ideal applicant will be a Designer – Architectural Metal with:
- Must have 5+ years design experience within the architectural metal market sector, dealing with balustrades, balconies, decking, canopies, stairs, hand rails and staircases
- Must have AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Tekla or related software experience
- Ideally will have experience dealing with commercial projects
- Ideally will have a degree in architecture, engineering, design, or a related field
- Knowledge of cladding systems will be preferred
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- High attention to detail and excellent organisation skills
- Driven, enthusiastic, comfortable working autonomously
