Remuneration: £35,000 – £45,000

The role of the Buyer – Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
- Buyer position dealing with a high quality range of roofing and cladding systems
- Supporting; planning, scheduling, procurement, and completion of projects
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Liaise with project managers and design teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders
- Place material orders in line with project requirements and delivery dates
- Organise plant hire, delivery, and collection, including crane lifts as required
- Working on projects ranging in value up to £7m
The ideal applicant will be a Buyer – Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
- Must have 2+ years Buyer experience within the construction / building industry OR have Sales experience within the roofing & cladding industry,
- Ideally familiar with roofing systems, cladding or facades
- High levels of organisation with the ability to manage diary
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Logical thinker, strong numerical background, problem solver
- Ability to work autonomously
