Area to be covered: South East & Ireland (Not London & Ireland travel will be 3/4 times per year)
Remuneration: £50,000 – £55,000 + up to 50% of salary bonus
Benefits: hybrid company car or £525 car allowance & full benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Fabrics & Upholstery will involve:
- Field sales position selling our clients high quality manufactured range of fabrics for the commercial and residential market place
- Majority of your time will be spent selling to furniture manufacturers, dealers & end-users
- The remaining smaller element of your time will be spent selling to design & building contractors, fit-out contractors, dealers, architects, interior designers and specifiers
- Managing some key furniture manufacturers accounts as well as developing the smaller dealers relationships
- Project size will vary depending on size and scope anywhere from £5k-£100k+
- Focusing on commercial projects such as: offices, hotels, universities, hospitals, schools
- Will have great internal sales support
- Reporting directly to Sales Director
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Fabrics & Upholstery with:
- Must have field sales experience in the interior / decorative building products market sector
- Ideally fabrics, upholstery, textiles, furniture, wallcoverings, wallpaper, decorative, flooring, acoustics, lighting, ceiling, paints etc
- Ideally sold to furniture manufacturers and dealers
- Would consider an A&D sales professional as well however not advantageous
- Vibrant, fresh and enthusiastic
- Autonomous, driven and hungry to succeed
