The role of the Area Sales Manager – Generator Hire will involve:
- Field sales role selling generator hire
- Selling into main contractors, electrical contractors and specialist event and film companies
- Sales target between £1m-£2m
- Majority of the time on the road in front of customers
- Tropical customers include hospitals, factories, distributors (where power back-up is essential)
- Selling the hire of large generators
- Leveraging your own network of contacts within the power industry
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Generator Hire with:
- 3 years+ field sales experience
- Must come from and have a network of contacts within the generator power industry
- Generator hire experience/ working for a competitor
- Strong negotiating skills
- Competitive nature
- Experience of managing a multi-site organisation
- Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering
- Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
