The role of the Business Development Manager Construction Logistics will involve:
- Field sales role selling construction logistics
- Looking to get your foot in the door with main contractors as well as selling on construction sites
- Mainly based around the London area but will have the remit to go after projects nationally
- Our client has projects all across the UK
- No initial turnover target as you will be targeted more on profitability
- Liaising with the internal staff regarding ongoing projects to target
The ideal applicant will be a Business Development Manager Construction Logistics with:
- Must have a proven track record in a field sales role selling a construction related service
- Ideally have experience working for a large construction company
- Open to most construction backgrounds
- Open to someone working in a field sales role for a main contractor
- Contacts within main contractors and tier ones are not essential
- Must be hungry and willing to learn
- Team player
- Energy, passion and enthusiasm
- Strong commercial and presentation skills
