The role of the Contract Kitchen Designer will involve:
- Kitchen Designer role selling a manufactured range of contract kitchens into Tier 1 contactors
- Producing accurate designs and quotations for kitchen layouts using CAD software
- Create quotations, ensuring that all additional items and accessories are included as per the client’s specification
- Discuss design requirements with the client / contractor to build relationships and to ensure our drawings are ‘right first time’
- Create tender documents in presentation format to be issued back to the client
- Able to check designs/quotes accurately including other people’s work
- Adhere to internal working systems and procedures
- Read tender enquiries and extract customer specification
- Producing designs for circa 100 – 600 kitchens with a project value ranging between £1m to £6m
The ideal applicant will be a Contract Kitchen Designer with:
- Must have design experience within the kitchens market sector, ideally experienced with contract kitchens
- Self-sufficient who can hit the ground running
- Familiar with AutoCAD, Winner or Fusion
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Charismatic, very personable, professional and confident
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Organised, methodical, good journey planner
