The role of the Designer – Curtain Walling, Windows and Doors will involve:
- Design position for a high end manufactured range of curtain walling, windows and doors projects
- Producing drawings and AutoCAD proposals
- Answering technical design queries from clients, procurement and installation team
- Attending meetings internally and externally to discuss project requirements
- Supporting internal sales team with technical queries
- Building and developing relationships with the client throughout the process to encourage repeat business
- Working on projects varying in value from £50k up to £2m
The ideal applicant will be a Designer – Curtain Walling, Windows and Doors experience with:
- Must have design experience within the market sector, working with curtain walling, windows, and doors
- Must have AutoCAD experience, ideally will be familiar with REVIT/BIM
- Must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal across all levels
- Must be able to read and interpret technical drawings
- Sound understanding of building regulations
- Must be a proactive, open-minded and a motivated individual
- High attention to detail
- Confident and articulate
- Full UK driving license
