Remuneration: £35,000 – £45,000neg + bonus tbc

The role of the Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Pitched Roofing Systems will involve:
- Estimator / Quantity Surveyor position dealing with range of pitched roofing projects for residential and commercial buildings
- Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
- Producing accurate and detailed quotations to clients
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identify cost-saving opportunities and recommended values
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
- Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients as required
- Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
- Estimating for projects ranging in value from £10k to £1m
The ideal applicant will be an Estimator / Quantity Surveyor – Pitched Roofing Systems with:
- Must have either pitched roofing estimating OR roofing quantity surveying experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Adaptable individual who can turn their hand to other responsibilities
- Full UK driving license
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Confident and articulate
