Remuneration: £50,000 – £65,000

The role of the General Manager – Bespoke Joinery will involve:
- Operations manager position dealing with a high end quality range of bespoke joinery projects
- Oversee the operations and management for production, warehousing and distribution
- Implementing strategies to develop areas of productivity, purchasing and logistics, to ensure that company targets are met
- Identify products that could be produced to further meet customer requirements
- Ensuring all process and procedures are in place to support overall growth in the business
- Managing staff selection, performance, development and training process to ensure team competencies and capabilities to meet targets
- Host regular production meetings to ensure that weekly / monthly targets are being met
- Preparing and controlling budgets and schedules for operations
- Promote and ensure H&S procedures are adhered to across the business
- Reporting directly into the Directors
The ideal applicant will be General Manager – Bespoke Joinery with:
- Must have experience within a General Manager or Operations Manager role within the construction industry, ideally dealing with joinery or related sectors
- Demonstrable ability to execute functional business plans to grow a small – medium sized business
- The ability to resolve complex business problems
- Ideally will have experience working for a manufacturer
- Ideally will be degree level educated in Operations, Business, Management etc
- Must be familiar with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen & 5S
- Must have a high level of commercial and financial acumen
- Must have extensive man management experience
- Longevity in previous jobs, or excellent reasons for quick career moves
- Must have excellent communication skills across all levels both written and verbal
- Organised, dynamic and self-motivated
