Remuneration: £35,000 – £55,000neg + discretionary bonus

The role of the Internal Business Development Manager – GRP Products will involve:
- Sales Manager role, selling a manufactured range of manufactured permanent GRP formwork products for bridges
- Dealing with main contractors, subcontractors, architects and specifying consultants
- Responsible for managing and developing sales strategies
- Building, fostering and developing relationships with clients
- Majority of the role will be chasing new business as no project is the same
- Arranging CPDS for the Head of Sales
- Liaising with Estimating, Production and Design teams to ensure deadlines are adhered and projects run smoothly
- Occassionally will be required to attend client visits and CPDs (1-2 overnight stays per month)
- Contributing to the UK sales target, roughly bringing in circa £3.5m per year
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Business Development Manager – GRP Products with:
- Must have extensive outbound sales experience within the construction industry
- Experience within the civils or structures market sector would be advantageous
- Ideally will have experience selling into main contractors, architects and specifying consultants
- Must be pro-active and have excellent organisational skills
- Experience and proficiency with a CRM system essential
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Confident & professional telephone manor
- Hungry and looking for a career
- Stable career background, no job hoppers
