Remuneration: £42,000 + £12,000-£20,000 Uncapped Commission
Benefits: Fully expensed Audi car or £450 car allowance & full benefits
The role of the Key Account Manager – Outdoor Playground Equipment will involve:
- Field based position, selling the design, manufacture and install of outdoor playground equipment
- Selling into housebuilders, housing developers and architects
- 50% key account management
- 50% new business development
- Significant project bank to inherit
- Area only vacancy due to an upcoming retirement
- Calling on customer’s sites, conducting surveys etc.
- Typically 2 days a week on the road, 3 days working from home
- Inheriting a warm area that has already smashed its annual target
- Average project size of circa £30,000
- Circa £1.5m revenue target
- Lots of sales support including field site visits with the Head of Sales
- Appoints set for you by internal co-ordinators
The ideal applicant will be a Key Account Manager – Outdoor Playground Equipment with:
- Experience working within the outdoor playground equipment sector is not essential
- Proven track record of key account management and business development
- Open on product background
- Previous experience selling into housebuilders, housing developers and architects may be useful but not essential
- Must live within 30 minutes of either Southampton or Winchester
- Comfortable with sales cycles up to 18 months
- Driven and organised
- Ability to grow accounts
- Not job hoppers/ journey men
- Ideally some formal sales training
- Computer literate
