Remuneration: £35,000-£55,000neg

The role of the Mechanical Estimator – Building Services will involve:
- Mechanical Estimator position role dealing with a range building services installation projects including: heating, cooling, plumbing, and ventilation systems for industrial and commercial sectors
- Gaining an understanding of project requirements via drawings, specifications and client liaison
- Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing to accurately estimate project costs
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services
- Present estimates to clients and participate in negotiation discussions as needed
- Ability to utilise Cypher estimating software to ensure accurate costs are prepared for all new projects
- Analysis of market trends to ensure that bids are competitive
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, and project-related documentation
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and technology to enhance estimating accuracy and efficiency
The ideal applicant will be a Mechanical Estimator – Building Services with:
- Must have Estimating experience within the mechanical market sector
- Would consider building services, plumbing, heating, HVAC, MEP or other mechanical services.
- Ideally will have experience using Cypher mechanical estimating software
- Ideally have experience in industrial and commercial project environments
- Strong understanding of M&E systems, codes, rates and standards
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
