The role of the Quality Control Technician – Mortar, Plaster & Render will involve:
- Quality Control position, dealing with a high quality manufactured range of mortar, plaster and render
- Carrying out tests on all manufactured batches daily (impact testing & model building)
- Dealing with customer queries and conducting further tests associated to queries
- Working closely with the R&D team ensuring that new products are up to standards
- Keeping track of recordings and report writing where required
- Conducting site tests, site improvement meetings and development trials
The ideal applicant will be Quality Control Technician – Mortar, Plaster & Render with:
- Must have quality control or raw material testing / laboratory experience
- Ideally dealing with related products such as; cement, mortar, screed, precast concrete, ready mix concrete, concrete admixtures, cement admixtures, chemicals admixtures, grouts and resins
- Physically demanding role with lifting and manual handling involved
- Ideally will be degree level educated with a background in science
- Ideally will be a member of the Institute of Concrete
- Positive, energetic and confident individual
- Driven, organised and personable
