The role of the Roofing Operative– Commercial Roofing will involve:
- Roofing Supervisor positions dealing with the refurbishment of commercial roofing and cladding systems
- Follow all SHEQ policies, carry out risk assessments, and adhere to client site rules at all times.
- Communicate professionally, respond promptly to requests, and maintain a respectful, presentable image on site.
- Plan and organise tools, materials, and tasks efficiently to deliver high-quality work on time.
- Participate in briefings and toolbox talks, support colleagues and apprentices, and promote a positive team environment.
- Accurately record work progress, complete site audits, and use company systems (tablet/portal) in line with procedures.
The ideal applicant will be a Roofing Operative– Commercial Roofing with:
- Must have roofing experience in sheeting/cladding
- Ideally have experience across multiple roofing types such as; flat roofing, green roofs, single ply, pitched etc
- CSCS card
- Sound understanding of Health & Safety legislation
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
- Resilient individual who can deal with queries in a professional manor
- Excellent communication across all levels both written and verbal
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Full UK driving license
