The role of the Sales Executive – GRP Products will involve:
- Project driven internal sales role selling a manufactured bespoke range of GRP products; access platforms, handrails, grates, ladders, hatches and anti-slip systems
- Selling into main-contractors, data centre companies and into the water treatment sector
- Working projects in the commercial, infrastructure, educational, healthcare and industrial sector
- Good blend of account management and new business
- Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
- Processing orders and making cold calls with a focus on generating new business
- Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly
- Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sale
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Executive – GRP Products with:
- Must have 5+ years sales experience within the construction industry
- Preferable experience selling GRP products although would be open to; aggregates, anti-slip materials, steel products, safety equipment, structural building products, flooring, building envelope or general construction sectors
- Ideally from a background selling technical products or someone who is technically minded
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Pro-active approach to generating new business
- Driven, enthusiastic, hungry and lots of self-motivation•
