The role of the Sales Manager – Roofing & Cladding will involve:
- Senior Sales Executive position selling a range of various roofing, cladding and building products, such as: roofing sheets, composite decking, composite fencing, steel purlins, roof screws and fixings
- Manage and supervise team of 2 direct reports
- Selling to and building relationships with national/independent merchants & buying groups
- Primarily inbound sales role, with some outbound activity required
- Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers
- Manage quotations from creation to follow-up, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Liaise with suppliers and cost management
- Advise customers on product selection, or escalate to technical support
- May be a requirement to visit site when needed
The ideal applicant will be Sales Manager – Roofing & Cladding with:
- Must have sales experience within the construction industry
- Highly advantageous to have people management experience
- Beneficial to have an understanding of cladding & roof sheeting
- Ideal to have sales experience coming from or selling to merchants / buying groups
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Brilliant customer service skills
- Presentable with a real positive attitude
- Self-motivated, driven, hungry and ambitious
- Computer literate
