Location: Commutable to Irvine
Remuneration: £14.50 – £15.50 per hour + 10% – 20% shift bonus
Schedule: Shift rota Monday – Friday (day shift 07:00 – 15:15 / back shift 15:00 – 23.15)

The role of the Shift Supervisor – Timber Manufacturing will involve:
- Shift Supervisor position assisting with the management of the production line for a high end range of timber products within a sawmill
- Responsible for production operations and standards
- Direct management responsibilities including: recruitment, onboarding, training and performance management
- Ensure that all regulations, policies and health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- Liaise with maintenance staff to ensure that plant machinery is fully operational
- Overseeing a production team of circa 30-35 dependent on shift patterns
The ideal applicant will be a Shift Supervisor – Timber Manufacturing with:
- Must have management / supervisory experience within the manufacturing market sector
- Ideally will be from a timber products / timber frame background: timber, lumbar, material timber, saw milling, saw mill, decking, fencing, whitewoods, carcassing etc
- Must be an excellent communicator and leader
- Strong health and safety background, ideally IOSH qualified
- Proactive, motivated, and highly organised
