The role of the Site Manager – Heritage Buildings will involve:
- Site Manager position dealing a range of various heritage and building restoration projects
- Supervise day to day site activities of circa 5 projects
- Ensuring work is carried out in accordance with the specifications, drawings and method statements
- Co-ordinate and manage the activities of subcontractors and suppliers on the projects in conjunction with the Projects Manager/Contracts Manager
- Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times
- Keeping all works moving smoothly and ensuring that project deadlines are met
- Liaising with clients and providing reports for the project
- Maintaining good working knowledge of current contracts, acts, and legislation
- Electronically documenting all contract-related correspondence, identifying and recording progress and problems
The ideal applicant will be a Site Manager – Heritage Buildings with:
- Must have Site Manager experience within the construction industry
- Must have experience with heritage buildings / building conservation market sector
- Excellent communication skills across all level both written and verbal
- Must be confident in resolving any project related issues in a professional manor
- IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
