Area to be covered: North & Scotland – ideally based near M62 corridor
Remuneration: £50,000-£55,000 + 20%-30% bonus

The role of the Technical Specification Sales Engineer – Building Services Valves will involve:
- Field sales role, selling a manufactured range of dynamic control valves (smart valves), pressure independent control valves (PICV’s), differential pressure control valves (DPCV’s) and electro-mechanical actuators
- 80-90% of your time winning specifications and influencing M&E consultants and building services consultants
- Remainder of time managing relationships with MEP contractors, M&E contractors and some OEM and developers
- Acting as the expert for all technical aspects of application, installation and function of the products
- Providing technical support and assisting the sales team in winning orders, generate quotations, technical submittals etc.
- Eight meaningful customer visits per week
- Technical design reviews, schematic take-offs/ mark ups
- Presenting 3-4 CPD seminars per month
- Project sizes up to £500,000, but typically £50,000-£80,000
- Typical projects include; data centres, offices, high rise residential, stadium’s etc.
- Tasked with adding circa £1m of project pipeline per month
- Working closely with a team of field sales professionals that close the business with M&E contractors
- Develop and implement sales strategy for new products
- Develop and present training material
The ideal applicant will be a Technical Specification Sales Engineer – Building Services Valves with:
- Minimum 3 years (ideally 5 years+) field sales experience within HVAC building services
- Must have specification sales experience with M&E consultants and building services consultants
- Comfortable with CPD presentations
- Proven aptitude for technical/ mechanical/ electrical
- Open to numerous commercial plumbing and heating products backgrounds including; valves, boilers, pumps, heat exchanges, heat pumps, chillers, AHU’s etc.
- Contacts within M&E consultants and building services consultants may be advantageous
