Remuneration: £55,000-£60,000 Neg. + 10%-20% bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Architectural Aluminium Systems will involve:
- New business field sales position, promoting commercial aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling and entrance door systems
- working for a leading extruder of architectural aluminium systems
- 40% of your time winning specifications with predominantly architects but also local authorities and housing associations
- 40% managing main contractors / design & build D&B contractors to make sure our clients specifications are not broken, tracking projects through
- 20% working with 10-15 aluminum fabricators on patch
- Focus on winning new projects and growing the area by circa £1.5m-£2m year one and £3.5m-£4m year two
- Commercial projects include; schools, office blocks, healthcare, residential, leisure, student accommodation etc.
- Project sizes from £500,000-£7m, typical glazing project size £2.5m (£500,000 worth of aluminium systems typically 20% of value of project)
- Responsible for the whole project lifecycle from cradle to grave
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Architectural Aluminium Systems with:
- Specification field sales experience with architects or main contractors
- Preferably sold a building envelope system such as curtain walling, cladding, architectural glazing, external wall, doors, windows or facades etc.
- Architectural aluminium systems experience would be ideal, although not essential
- New business hunter, driven individual
- Capable for managing sales process from inception to completion
- Prior experience of dealing with local authorities, housing associations or aluminium fabricators is not essential
- CPD presentation experience not essential and training will be provided
- Great communicator
- Team player
