Remuneration: £40,000 – £50,000

The role of the Transport Planner – Aggregates & Muck Away will involve:
- Transport Planner position dealing with a range of aggregate supply and waste disposal services
- Efficiently planning all delivery routes to customers utilising up to 50 wagons at any one time (average of 250 daily deliveries)
- Managing subcontractors / 3rd party hauliers
- Liaise with customers and suppliers to ensure an efficient delivery service
- Building long term relationships with external customers and key stakeholders
- Liaise effectively with colleagues to ensure best possible planning is obtained
- Developing strong relationships with customers and drivers, providing updates and any delivery issues in a timely manner
The ideal applicant will be a Transport Planner – Aggregates & Muck Away with:
- Must have transport planner / route planning experience within the aggregates industry
- Ideally will have experience on transport management systems such as: Haultech
- Plenty of energy, passion and self-motivation
- Excellent organisational skills
- Excellent geographical knowledge of the North-West region
- Personable demeanour with excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
