Office based: Guildford (60% office based / 40% on-site)
Remuneration: £65,000 – £75,000neg

The role of the Estimator – Groundworks & Surfacing will involve:
- Estimator / Surveyor position working on a bespoke range of groundworks, surfacing, drainage, civils, sewers and earthwork projects
- Liaising with main-contractors, developers and housebuilders
- Reviewing tender enquiries to gain an understanding of project requirements
- Keeping up to date with site progress, recording progress made, and transferring information onto monthly payment applications
- Updating any changes to the agreed contract scope
- Keep internal database and documentation up to date
- Reviewing project drawings, comparing construction drawings to tender drawings documenting any changes
- Working on projects ranging from £5,000 – £250,000
The ideal applicant will be a Estimator – Groundworks & Surfacing experience with:
- Must have 5+ years’ experience as an Estimator within groundworks, surfaces, civils, infrastructure, foundations or drainage
- Would be open to someone with 2 years as a surveyor and 3 years Estimating
- Ideally have dealt with main contractors, sub-contractors and developers
- Must be IT literate (Microsoft Office)
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Professional, Proactive and motivated individual
- Full UK driving license
