Remuneration: £50,000-£57,500 + up to £8,000 bonus

The role of the Regional Sales Manager – Welding Equipment will involve:
- Field sales role, selling a distributed range of welding equipment including, MIG & TIG machines, welding torches, consumables, industrial gas equipment, automation, robotics, welding wires, electrodes and compressed air equipment
- Selling into trade retail customers (distributors) who then sell onto end users within welding, fabrication, engineering, manufacturing and construction
- Responsible for approx. 100 active spending accounts
- 50% account management, 50% new business (mostly dormant and low spending accounts)
- Circa £4m revenue responsibility
- Working in partnership with your own dedicated internal account manager
- 3-4 days on the road, typically 4-5 high quality customer visits per day
The ideal applicant will be a Regional Sales Manager – Welding Equipment with:
- Welding associated sector experience
- Proven B2B field sales track record
- Ideally experience selling into trade retailers/ distributors with welding, industrial, engineering, fabrication, engineering, manufacturing and construction
- Account management/ relationship building skills
- Ideally with a track record of growing established large account/ customers
- Willing to travel, occasional overnight stays may be necessary
- Tangible evidence of sales track record/ account development
- CRM experience and strong presentation skills
