Area to be covered: National (ideally based Midlands)
Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 neg. + £15,000 bonus
Benefits: VW Transport van or equivalent + benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Wood Finishing & Protection Products will involve:
- Field sales position selling a range of wood finishing & protection products to the trade
- All of your time will be spent selling to joiners, builders, contractors, woodworks, furniture manufacturers, flooring manufacture, wood cladding manufacturers, stockists, distributors, architects and interior designers
- Will have some dealing with dedicated distribution network
- Average order values can range from £500 – £15k
- Will be expected to turnover circa £400k
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Wood Finishing & Protection Products with:
- Must have field sales experience in the construction industry
- Ideally from the wood / joinery background however no essential
- Would consider a joiner looking to step up into field sales
- Ideally dealt with joiners, builders, contractors, woodworks, furniture manufacturers, flooring manufacture, wood cladding manufacturers, stockists, distributors, architects and interior designers
- Driven, enthusiastic and hungry
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- IT Literate
