Location: Wakefield
Remuneration: £36,000 – £40,000neg + Up to 10% revenue based bonus

The role of the Depot Manager – Construction Plant & Tool Hire will involve:
- Depot Manager position selling a distributed range of construction plant & tool hire, predominantly small plant such as mixers, saws, trench rammers etc. (huge portfolio) also selling excavators, dumpers, dozers and telehandlers etc.
- Selling to plant hire companies who supply to building contractors, main contractors, housebuilder developers as well as smaller independent plant companies, groundcare contractors, civil engineering contractors and end users
- Working with 3 current direct reports, this will increase as well as a workshop further down the line
- Managing all aspects of the branch including, customer service, administration, sales and health & safety
- Manage stock levels, set and work towards budget expectations for each year
- Maintain existing base and cultivate new customer relationships to increase sales
- Travel may be required to meet smaller customers occasionally
The ideal applicant will be a Depot Manager – Construction Plant & Tool Hire with:
- Must have experience within a branch, depot or facilities manager position within either the hire sector (ideal) or the wider construction industry
- Must have people management experience with a small team
- Would consider an assistant/deputy branch manager looking to step up
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Determined, enthusiastic with a structured background (no jobs hoppers)
- Must have strong IT skills
