Remuneration: £60,000 + discretionary bonus

The role of the Depot Operations Manager – Formwork & Falsework Systems will involve:
- Depot Operations Manager position dealing with various temporary formwork/falsework systems
- Day-to-day oversight of the operational teams within the storage and repair & maintenance facilities
- Working closely with the Depot Manager and Stock Team to ensure that products are available for project requirements
- Ensuring that lead times are kept to a minimum
- Carrying out further management duties including: disciplinaries, absence management, quality assurance, health & safety, training and developing recruits
- Regular liaison with sales team to discuss upcoming projects to ensure stock levels are maintained
- 4 direct reports, with a further 25 indirect
The ideal applicant will be Depot Operations Manager – Formwork & Falsework Systems with:
- Must have previous experience managing operations within a construction rental/hire depot
- Ideally will have experience within the formwork or falsework market sector
- Would consider Depot Operations Manager, Operations Manager, Ops Manager, Depot Manager, GM, General Manager, Hire Manager, Plant Manager or similar
- Ideally will have a working knowledge of PUWER and LOLER regulations
- Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH/IOSH) would be advantageous
- Planning & scheduling techniques
- IT literate (Microsoft Office & ideally ERP software)
- Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Tenacious, professional and high attention to detail
