Location: Burton

Remuneration: £25,000 – £30,000neg + Discretionary Bonus

The role of the Hire Desk Coordinator – Formwork/Falsework will involve:

  • Hire Desk Coordinator position dealing with the hire & sale of a range of groundworks, reinforcements, concrete accessories, waterproofing and formwork and falsework
  • Selling to main contractors including Kier, Laing O’Rourke, Skanska, Bam Nuttall, Ground Construction Ltd, Munnings etc.
  • Also selling to builders merchants, end users and the trade
  • Be the first point of contact for customers ensuring into the hire & sales department
  • Deal with incoming hire & sales enquiries via email & telephone
  • Arrange the transport & collection of hire equipment from construction sites
  • Process orders and monitor projects from initial order to return
  • Enter all information accurately and promptly into data systems and CRM’s
    Support the field sales team as and when required with general administration
  • Dealing with projects ranging from small hire sales for £100 up to large bespoke projects of circa £600k

The ideal applicant will be Hire Desk Coordinator – Formwork/Falsework with:

  • Must have experience within the hire & sales industry
  • Must have experience within the construction industry, ideally temporary works such as falsework/formwork or wider construction accessories
  • Able to work as part of tight knit team as well as autonomously
  • Tenacious, professional and high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly organised, confident and personable
  • Excellent customer service and relationship building skills
