Remuneration: £26,000 – £28,000neg + bonuses

The role of the Internal Business Development Manager – Fixing Systems will involve:
- Internal Business Development Manager role, selling a high end range of manufactured fixing & support systems
- Most of your time will be spent selling into M&E contractors with a lesser focus on main & sub-contractors
- Your main responsibility will be developing new business; prospecting sales leads and nurturing them to a point where they can be passed to the external sales team
- Contacting lapsed/dormant accounts to redevelop spending relationships
- Monitor ongoing projects to ensure no sales opportunities are missed
- Dealing with all enquiries via telephone and email
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
- Dealing customers spending a minimum of £1,000 p/m
- Offer technical support to clients, distributors and sales team
The ideal applicant will be Internal Business Development Manager – Fixing Systems with:
- Must have 3+ years sales experience within construction
- Experience selling fixings, fastenings, support systems, tools, plastic ducting systems or anything else related beneficial but not essential
- Proactive, initiative, ‘think on your feet’ approach
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner
- Ability to work as part of a team or autonomously
- Highly organised with good time management and administrative skills
- Computer and Microsoft Office literacy
