The role of the Internal Sales Executive – Timber Products will involve:
- Internal Sales Executive position selling a range of timber products such as hardwoods, softwoods, MDF, cladding, decking, fencing, sleepers, insulation, hardware and tools
- Selling to contractors, housebuilders, developers, timber merchants, builders merchants, joinery manufacturers and trade
- Dealing with inbound sales enquiries via telephone and email
- Processing orders and making cold calls with a focus on generating new business
- Pro-actively selling, following up leads and enquiries promptly
- Producing quotes to customers and following up to convert sale
- Providing excellent customer service to clients and building relationships
- Supporting with general requirements for the branch and wide sales team
The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive – Timber Products with:
- Must have sales experience within the construction industry
- Ideally will have experience dealing with timber, joinery, furniture or aligned product ranges
- Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Pro-active approach to generating new business
- Driven, enthusiastic, hungry and lots of self-motivation
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Office)
