Job Title: Sales Account Manager – Lighting Products

Location: Basingstoke or surrounding areas
Remuneration: £30,000 – £40,000 + £9,000 bonus

The role of the Sales Account Manager – Lighting Products will involve:
• Sales Account Manager position selling a distributed range of LED and induction lighting focused on reducing energy consumption as well as reducing lighting costs and cutting carbon emissions
• Selling into manufacturers, end users, main contractors, sub-contractors, M&E consultants and other construction companies such as Coca Cola, MoD, Schneider Electric & British Gypsum
• Responsible for managing 5-10 existing accounts and maximising their revenue spend
• Elements of cold calling to generate new business
• Building and developing strong, long lasting relationships with customers and clients
• Producing design for lighting systems (training provided)
• Carrying out 2-3 site surveys per week (pool car available)
• Attend occasional trade shows / exhibitions
• Targeted to achieve £30k profit per month
The ideal applicant will be a Sales Account Manager – Lighting Products with:
• Must have sales experience within construction electrical or lighting market sector
• Open to electrical wholesale experience (CEF or Edmundson etc)
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Product knowledge can be taught, however any knowledge of LED or induction lighting would be advantageous
• Full UK driving license
• IT literate (Microsoft Office)
• Proactive, money hungry, motivated individual
• Highly organised and capable
