Remuneration: £55,000-£65,000 Neg. + up to 40% Bonus

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Architectural Aluminium Systems will involve:
- Field sales position, selling a manufactured range of commercial aluminium systems including; curtain walling, windows & door profiles and facades
- 90% of your time focused on winning specifications with architects, building surveyors, local authorities, housebuilder developers main contractors and façade consultants
- 10% of your time managing existing relationships with aluminium fabricators on the area, dealing with technical enquiries etc.
- Inheriting a project pipe line of circa £10m (typical conversation 25%)
- Working in a team of three field sales specification sales professionals coving the London market
- Being responsible for growing the area from £5m to £6m

- Average project size circa £100,000-£300,000 material values but can range from £20,000 – £1m+
- Responsible for circa 100 live projects at any one time
- Project bank will be a mix of residential, office blocks, high rise residential, student accommodation (all new build) and education (approx. 60% refurbishment, 40% new build)
- Four days a week on the road selling, one day working from home

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Architectural Aluminium Systems with:
- Proven track record in technical specification sales, ideally worked for an aluminium systems house
- Must have sold technical building envelope product such as glass, cladding, aluminium systems, rainscreen, curtain walling, roofing, facades etc.
- Open to sub contracting, estimating and design backgrounds looking for first specification field sales role
- Specification field sales experience with either: architects, local authorities, building surveyors, housebuilder developers, main contractors or façade consultants
- An appreciation of value engineering
- Ideally a mix of refurbishment and new build project experience
- Tender writing experience
- Organised, ability to manage multiple live projects simultaneously
