Area Sales Manager – Cable Management
Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Cable Management
Industry Sector: Cable management fittings & accessories, conduit tube, conduit fittings & accessories, switch & socket boxes, adaptable boxes, channel support fittings & accessories, support brackets, cable accessories, electrical wholesale, electrical and mechanical
Area to be covered: North West
Remuneration: £30,000-£32,000 basic £35,000-£40,000 OTE
Benefits: Hybrid car OR £550 car allowance & comprehensive benefits package
The role of the Area Sales Manager – Cable Management will involve:
- Field sales position, promoting a wide distributed range of cable management solutions
- Selling into electrical wholesalers on the patch
- New business development role
- Selling into circa 250 zero/ low spending (less than £10,000 per annum)
- Tasked with achieving approx. £500,000 of turnover
- Once established in the role you will be given larger electrical whole accounts to manage
- Typically 8+ customer visits per day (usually less than 20 minutes) with a focus on building relationships
- Fantastic internal sales support
- Full product training will be provided
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager – Cable Management with:
- Sales experience within an electrical wholesaler
- New business hunter
- Field sales experience not expected or required!
- Open to any electrical or mechanical sales background (full product training will be provided)
- Self-motivated and strong work ethic
- Commission hungry
